Process Book

I had been walking through the Art Institute for a while and plopped down on a bench to rest for a minute. I found myself sitting across from a sculpture of a very curvy woman. I looked at it for a minute and thought it was kind of interesting that she was so large, completely naked, and facing directly at me. I happened to be sitting there, so I decided to do a quick sketch.

I saw this guy laying in the grass at Millennium Park. At first, it was funny to me because he was just taking a nap in the middle of the park. Then it made me smile. He looked happy and very picturesque at that moment.

This is the Ferris wheel at the Navy Pier. It looked so gorgeous that night. I was probably more excited I got to ride it than some of the kids there. From the top, there was a great view of the city and Lake Michigan. It was such a nice night.
